Windsurfing Museum Prague and the Stránov Chateau

dedicated to the phenomenon of Windsurfing
SAILBOARDS OF THE LAST CENTURY
The permanent exhibition is installed in a Baroque granary
within the charming Stránov Chateau complex.
Stránov Chateau is located near Mladá Boleslav,
a 45 min drive from the center of Prague
Opening times 2025:
April to June on weekends
July to August daily exc. Mondays
The founder of the museum, Tom, is happy* to personally guide interested visitors through the museum including depository by prior arrangement: ws1975@post.cz
* We would like to inform you that for almost the whole of 2025, due to a oldschool sailboard trip to Italy, there will be no guided tours in the windsurfing museum at Stránov Chateau. You can visit and see a substantial part of the exhibition on your own on weekends without the personal presence of the founder. The key to the self guided tour will be lent to you in the chateau café.
The Tours with museum owner are scheduled for April 26 and then for May 31. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to your visit. We have many new old gems and surprises in store for the 2025 season. Stay retro tuned!
